July Favourites!

Apologies for not posting any content for a month, my only excuse is that the lazy/procrastinating side of me has arisen and obviously that cant be fixed. I'm a tad late in writing up my monthly favourites but I had a sudden urge to start blogging again so enough with my rambling and here it is!

Hello Kitty Eyeshadow Palette

I've still been reaching out for this palette as of today, I have stopped using the copper brown shade and have now been using the matte brown shade to line the lower lashline. My everyday makeup usually consists of winged liner on the lids and eyeshadow on the lower lashline. It makes such a subtle difference since my lashes are quite invisible.
I rarely touch up my makeup through the day especially during school and I find that this eyeshadow only lasts for 3 hours before fading into nothingness, so I dont have to worry about raccoon eyes at the end of the day.

K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Liquid Liner

Even though I've been doing eyeliner since the start of my makeup journey, I still have trouble getting my wings even. But I do have my own foolproof plan on getting winged eyeliner to be even and it is with this bad boy. I draw the wing in first using the pen liner, it's so much easier to use than a liquid liner in a bottle as I find the brush tip is a lot sharper and accurate.
Sadly this liner does fade and is definitely not waterproof on me so I do go over it with a different liner.

Hello Kitty Liquid Liner

Since winter has approached, I find that gel liner is just too time consuming and fiddly especially during those cold mornings when I just want to quickly do my makeup. Also having to remove it is a pain in the butt (which is the case for any makeup product). But I've been reaching for the Hello Kitty Liquid Liner a lot. What really wins me over is the lasting power and also how easily it just comes off with water. It stays put on my lids, no fading no smudging etc. It isnt waterproof so it does start separating near the ends of my eyes but i can clean it up with my fingers so its no biggy.

Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint in Orange

To be honest, I didnt think I would like this product at all. I swatched it on my lips last month and I was expecting a decent orange tint but the pigmentation was a disappointment but I gave it a second chance and applied it in the morning when my lips were pale and I could actually see colour. It gives my lips a natural orange tint, which I have been loving lately.

Essence Rebels Lip & Cheek Pot

Did a review on this awhile back and I said that it is absolutely terrible on the lips but it is such a lovely cheek color. It's natural, a little goes a long way and blends like a charm.

Nivea Lip Butter Unscented

I have no idea why but when I first started using this lip balm it didnt do anything amazing to my lips, it just felt like it was on my lips doing nothing. But I found that now in the colder weather, I have seen an improvement from using this, I usually have chapped or dry lips around 2-3 times a week but now I rarely have chapped lips anymore. I use this lipbalm in the morning and before I go to bed.

Contigo 500ml Drink Bottle

I've been on the hunt for a new drink bottle since my old one couldnt stand the copious amount of times of me dropping it at school, even though I only had it for a few months the bottle started to dent and the lid cracked and fell off. I'm a sucker for super cool fancy items and I just had to get this bottle when I found it. I got it from Rebel Sports and rather than a twist up or pull up lid, it has a button you hold for the water to come out. I assume that it may be the new craze after the water bottles with the straw since many of my friends and classmates have been intrigued by it, asking me where I got it from. But I just love it, it doesnt leak out as well, and it isnt too big or small.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

This has been such a lifesaver of mine when Im feeling lazy in removing my makeup. I usually hate using the oil based eyemakeup removers since it leaves me with that oily residue. So I use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and it just feels like im removing makeup with water. And it actually makes me more content in the 'removing makeup' regime.
Though I find that it kinda sucks at removing waterproof eye makeup so I do have to use an oil based makeup remover and then go over it again with the Cleansing water so the oily residue is gone.
