Pink Gradient Glitter Tips

A while back I painted my nail tips a gradient glitter. After seeing so many people doing this, they looked so pretty so I decided to try it out myself.

Nail polishes I used
Just going to say that I still have a lot of nail polish posts to post out so they may be months/weeks old. I usually only post them once every few weeks.

Sunsilk Co-Creations Damaged Hair Reconstruction Conditioner

I was never the type of person who would be into hair products, I always thought 'just buy some cheap shampoo & conditioner' I was the low maintenance hair girl. But after awhile I began to buy shampoos for my oily scalp and conditioner for the super dry ends.
As some of you may not know, I still do break so many hair care rules like, straightening my hair every single time I go out, not using heat protectant (still don't own any), dying my hair 2-3 times a year, washing my hair everyday and never having regular hair trims. This all started around the end of last year and it gradually made the ends of my hair drier and I eventually had gotten a lot more split ends than before. So I went on an adventure to find my HG conditioner.
But I actually didn't think this conditioner worked until I finished one of the bottles and realised none of my past conditioners made my hair feel soft and glossy.

Front close-up
The one I have is in the orange bottle, for "Dry & Damaged hair"
You can buy it probably anywhere that sells shampoos & conditioners, I got mine at Woolworths on sale for $4.79

The back

My least favourite thing about the conditioner would be just opening it. Since the lid is placed at the bottom of the bottle, whenever I open the lid, the conditioner will usually come rushing out. making everything messier.
The conditioner itself just looks and feels like the average type of conditioner you would buy.
I like to apply it to the ends of my hair (bottom of my ears to the tips) and leave it for 1-2 minutes before washing it out.
I should start to apply the conditioner to the hair above my ears since my hair is layered and the layers around my ears feel super dry compared to the tips. (atleast I know its working!)

This is probably the only conditioner I've ever repurchased and I will keep repurchasing it until a better conditioner comes along (doubt that'll happen anytime soon though)

Rimmel London The Max Bold Curves Mascara - Black

Got this mascara in a part of the Rimmel Xmas 2011 Pack (post here).
Rimmel Mascaras honestly never caught my eye (besides the bright colours), I was always interested in the Maybelline mascaras so I was happy to get it in the gift pack.
I needed to try out some new mascaras, which is pretty hard for me to find the perfect mascara. I like to look for non clumpy, flake free, holds a curl, lasts all day and easy to take off mascaras. (I have high expectations in my mascaras).

Back of the tube
Got the colour in 001 Black

Claims to give 'Big, bold lashes in a flash, Exponential Volume and Lift Mascara.

The wand

The wand really shocked me when I pulled it out of the tube, it was pretty big. The curved shape was supposed to 'curl' and lift your lashes, which never works in my books since I have stick straight lashes, but the curved shape was big enough to cup majority of my lashes in one sweep.
The formula was quite drying and clumpy on the bristles which you would have to wipe off the excess.
I am no mascara expert but the brush itself seemed like one of those cliché curling/volumising brush.

Bare lashes, curled lashes, one coat of mascara...droop
Sad to say I didn't test the lasting power since I gave this mascara away to my friend due to the fact that it didn't hold a curl. After a few minutes it started to droop. Though I did like how it made my lashes look, it wasn't that clump, lengthened a tiny bit and volumised a tiny bit, looked very natural and it didn't flake!
I would'nt repurchase this but for those who would like to try this mascara out you can get this at Priceline for $15.50 or any store that stocks up on Rimmel products! :)

Dads back!

After a few months, my dad is finally back from Hong Kong!
Whenever he goes back to Hong Kong I always ask him to buy me stuff from Sasa. (I wish i went there myself)

K-Palette- 24 Hour Real Lasting Eyeliner
His first trip to Hong Kong this year, I asked him to get me Dollywink Liquid liner, sadly it has nearly ran out (probably 10-20% left) and I asked him to get me the 24hour Real Lasting Liquid Eyeliner. I've just started using this and I can say it is just a little bit better than Dollywink!

HadaLabo TAMAGOHADA Daily Face Wash
My Nivea face wash was running dangerously low (my mum used the rest today) and I did a bit of research on the HadaLabo brand and found this, it had so many fantastic reviews (literally). Used it yesterday and all I can say is... wow

HadaLabo GOKUJYUN Super Hyaluronic Acid Lotion
Along with the Face Wash I also asked for the Lotion, since I am suffering from dry patches of skin around my nose, fore head and parts of my cheek (i also have oily skin) I also used this aswell, and so far so good. :D HadaLabo is amazing, cannot wait to try out more of their range!

Mirror
I didnt expect my dad to buy me this but it reminded me a lot of the Anna Siu mirrors, the whole design looked similar besides the picture of the rose. Looks so fancy and princess like!

Random Masks
This wasn't in the first picture because I only got this today while my dad was clearing out his suit case, he gave me 2 Beauty Diary Masks and a MissFace Mask, can't wait to try them out! :D

Any of you tried out these products? Which should I review first? (excluding the masks) :)

Rimmel London Eyebrow Pencil - Dark Brown

I don't know about you but doing my eyebrows would be the first thing I do after my face routine. Eyebrows are the first thing I care for seeing as though I accidentally messed them up in the past.
If you didn't know, awhile ago I had a little spree and decided to spend my money on the Rimmel London Eyebrow Pencil, I had been using my Daiso Eyebrow Pencil which was just...crap. I thought why not spend more money on a brand I trust more?
I got it at Priceline on sale for $6.80, it usually retails for $8.50.

There were only 3 colours available, Hazel, Dark Brown and Black Brown.
I got the colour in 001 Dark Brown since my hair colour is a brown colour (naturally black hair).
Not that happy that they didn't sell a wide range of colours.
You would probably have to buy the Black Brown if you have darker hair.

On the lid of the pencil, it had a brow brush which did come in handy to blend out the harsh lines made by the pencil while also grooming my brows.

Plain old eyebrow pencil
Now what I don't like is that the pencil itself wasn't sealed up with plastic. Its lid was free of anyone just opening it and testing it out.
I forgot to check if mine was tested or not so when I got home I saw that the pencil was blunt, flat looked used but luckily it wasn't fully noticeable (blunt to the very tip) so it wouldn't do any harm to just sharpen it again!

I know I didn't go to the very edge of my eyebrows, I usually like to fill them in naturally and also put eyebrow powder over it. I only use pencil to line the edges since I have some spaces which powder won't do the job.
For the lasting power it did start to fade. I have school for 6 hours and I have very oily skin, I don't like to touch up my make-up during my breaks so it's important for me to find products that last. Sad to say this pencil didn't reach to my standards. Though I am still finding my holy grail eyebrow pencil.

Have you guys used this product? What's your favourite eyebrow pencil? :)

Sigma E40 Arrived!

Bought the Sigma E40 around 1-2 weeks ago and recieved it yesterday!
I was completely excited when I got this in the mail, seeing as though this is my first ever Sigma brush I own.
So the brush came in a long parcel, which included card, brochure and a box containing the brush (reminded me of the apple pies that Mcdonalds sell)

The card contained instructions on cleaning and maintaining the brush. Pretty helpful if you don't know what Spot cleaning and Deep cleaning is!

The brochure showed the collection of the individual brushes, I really want to get the F40 next for my bronzer and probably the E30 & E65.

Lastly the box containing my brush.

Review coming soon~

The brush I got was the E40 or the Tapered Blending brush, I did mention I wanted a brush for blending and  for the crease so I really wanted this one.
I'm definitely going to save up for the Mr Bunny set next, so happy with the quality and the fast shipping!

Jack Skellington Nail Art!

Although I am late in posting this during Halloween, there is no rule that states that you're not allowed to paint your nails in a Jack Skellington way only for Halloween! (although i did paint this before Halloween...)

Right hand...completely failed
So I actually used a dotting tool and a toothpick to do the white stripes and Jacks face.
My nails started to chip on the 2nd-3rd day but luckily I still have one of jacks face on my nail while the rest were removed with nail polish remover :D

What nail art should I do next?
