Essence Eyeshadow- Dream Team

So I found this pretty baby at Target and I really wanted to try out the Essence eyeshadows since there was quite a lot of good reviews about it. I'm also on the hunt of trying out new cheap eyeshadows.

Price: $2

This is probably the reason why I bought it, the price was discounted to $2 in a bowl full of the rejected makeup. For $2 the eyeshadows would equal to $1 per colour which isnt that bad considering that you get quite a lot of product.

Packaging: 3/5

-To be honest, I thought the packaging was quite cool because of the logo on the side.
-It was also a good idea that the lid was a slide out instead of popping it up.
-Very sturdy, but opens easily as well

The eyeshadow is on my lashline and inner corner.

Product: 4/5

Pros:

• It actually lasts on my lashline really well it stayed for around 5 hours and only smudged a small bit.
• It is buildable
• Compact
• Decent pigmentation

Cons:

• Doesn't come with an applicator
• Takes awhile to get the desired amount of colour on since it's buildable.

Swatches:

Conclusion:

Overall I really love this product on my lashline and inner corners, it really does stay on better then my pencil eyeliners and gel liners, I would definately buy it again. It was worth the buy!

Revlon Lip Butters - Peach Parfait

This review is mainly on Peach Parfait

Today I went Mothers Day Shopping, I planned on buying the Revlon Lip Butters in Tutti Frutti for her since she liked the orange colour and buy myself Peach Parfait. So I went around the stores trying to find the cheapest one, which was Mychemist

Price: $18.65

Australias prices aren't worth it since I heard over in America the Lip Butters are around $7 I think?
It was on sale, 15% off, so I saved myself $3.29 which isnt that much but from all the good reviews about it everywhere I had to get it. You really only get that much product so I'll only be using it for outings/special occasions

Packaging: 4/5 Stars

The packaging looks really classy from the diamond patterns on the 2 sides and then the other sides were frosted . What I didnt like about the packaging was actually opening the lid, you really only have around a centimetre on the bottom to hold onto and why that's bad is the lid is actually tightly held together with the bottom, so it takes some strength to open it and sometimes my hands slip and it made me drop it on the ground and made the product all dirty :( But It's good to know that it's closed while its in my bag.

The colour isnt that pink, my camera made the colour brighter :(

Product: 3/4

Pros-

• The Colour is buildable
• Lasts a few hours after eating, drinking talking etc
• It's not sticky
• Moisturising
• Has no taste
• Smells really nice, but the smell isn't noticeable, only if you smell it very closely.

Cons-

 There's glitter in it.
• The colour doesn't do that much to my lips, it looked like a very sheer red colour. But the colour did look like what it was on the tube.

Conclusion:

Overall I did like this product, just not the colour. I would definately buy it again only when it's on sale. I will probably try Candy Apple, Sweet Tart, Berry Smoothie, Sugar Plum or Pink Truffle, just the natural pink shades.

I will now end this post with a swatch of it (:

The colour reminds me of Eyeko Fat Balm in "Strawberry" when it's on my lips.

Have a nice day!
and btw, The Everyday Makeup Tutorial will be filmed tomorrow, I bought my tripod today (:

My Everyday Makeup Tutorial

(I'm in my school uniform, and I don't want to change since its warm (: )

So I usually wear makeup every single day that I go out, it's usually Eyeliner and concealer on school days but when I go out shopping, eating out or just hanging with my friends this is the look I wear out!

What I use:
• Nivea Tinted Moisturising Day Cream in "Natural" (I only use this during the hotter times)
• Daiso Foundation Powder
•Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer in "Ivory"
• NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in "Dark Brown/Brown"
• Rimmel London Colour Rush Quad in "Smokey Noir"
• Ellefar Refillable Eyebrow Pencil in "Brown" (Yes it does say Eyeliner pencil, but my eyebrow pencil one rolled under the fridge so I used the refills on the eyeliner pencil :/)
• Missha The Style Eyeliner Pencil in "White"
• Dollywink Liquid Eyeliner in "Black"
• Maybelline The Falsies Waterproof Mascara in "Very Black" (I didnt use any mascara for this tutorial since it is hard to take off this mascara unless I use baby oil which I dont like using. But I do use this mascara when I go out only in the cool seasons since it smudges in the warmer seasons (: .
• The Body Shop Slanted Brush

Eyebrows:
If you didn't know, when I was little I was playing with my mums tweezers and over plucked my eyebrows which sadly didnt grow back so I always start off doing my brows and focus on them more.
I used the Ellefat Eyebrow Pencil (doesnt last that long but I use it as a base) and the NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in "Dark Brown/Brown" I mostly use the dark brown powder but I sometimes use the brown powder. It lasts amazingly well so I dont touch up my eyebrows or anything.

1. Use small strokes to fill in my eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil.
2. Go over the pencil with eyebrow powder.
3. Use the spooly brush to blend out the harsh strokes made by the pencil and to blend the powder to make my eyebrows look more natural.

And I usually use the wax/gel if my eyebrows are all over the place!

Eyeshadow:
I dont use eyeshadow when I goto school but I always use it when I go out. I used to use pencil eyeliner all the time on my waterline everyday but they always smudged which I never notice until I get home so i stopped using them unless it was an important event. But I like to use eyeshadow as an alternative to the lashline, it makes my lower lashes look more defined and thick and it also gives the illusion of a smokey eyeliner look without using pencil.

1. I use the slanted brush to line my eyes and wing it out a bit with the black eyeshadow, it isnt pigmented but it still works well for me.
2. I then use the applicator that comes with the eyeshadow to line the lower lashline.

Eyeliner:
My dad bought me the Dollywink Liquid Eyeliner when he came back from HK :D I've been using it eversince, prob the best eyeliner I've ever used and loved.
1. Line the lid and wing it out a bit
2. Apply white pencil eyeliner to the inner corners
3. Blend it out with the fingers.

Finished!
It's a really nice makeup look thats great for everyday!

Im wearing tinted lipbalm on the left picture. I dont usually smile with my teeth so this is the first time I've uploaded a picture with them haha, you should feel special :D
