Viva La Juicy

I have never been one to buy perfume in a smaller size, Im usually the one that buys the full sized perfume, I mean you either go big or go home!
Though before my dad left to go overseas, its usually a thing to go to Mychemist and buy the perfumes that are always on sale and he let me choose a perfume as a nice gift for myself. Not many of them stood out to me and I thought why not try the Viva La Juicy, marked down from $60 to I think it was $20-$30, I did get a whiff of it in stores and it won me over.

Viva La Juicy is known for its hot pink bow, appearing in quite a few beauty bloggers vanity or makeup table as it does stand out. Im a sucker for packaging and I just love how the bow just pops out from my perfume collection. Even the crystal top makes it feel so much more classy!
The bottle is a 30ml and fits perfectly in the palm of my hands, would also be a great size to fit in your handbag.

From the first smell, it really reminded me of Katy Perry's Meow mixed in with Britney Spears Fantasy and my gosh it is a lovely combination. I found with Meow that it was too night time-ish for me and for Fantasy that was way too sweet for my liking and mixed together Viva La Juicy is my current perfume favourite! (but Im not trying to say it is the exact perfume combo, just reminds me of a mixture of both)
The scent is on the sweet side but it isnt sickly/overly sweet which I love about it, it reminds me a bit of caramel with a hint of floral which is you are a fan of these scents you may want to check this one out!
The scent lasts a good 6 hours until it becomes a subtle scent, it is very wearable for daily use and I have been picking this up quite a lot for everyday wear and I have not been sick of it yet.

What are your thoughts on Viva La Juicy?

DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom

Ever since I've heard about the DKNY Be Delicious perfume (green apple scent), I've always wanted one. But seeing as the price was out of my budget in perfume buying, I never had the guts to go all out and buy one.

I went on a trip with my family excluding my bro (exam time sadly for him), for 2 weeks during October to Macau & Hong Kong. I pretty much went crazy in Sasa seeing most of the products a lot cheaper than here in Aus, so the first thing on my list to buy was the DKNY Be Delicious.
But obviously I bought the Fresh Blossom perfume, reason being was that I smelt the Fresh Blossom when I was at Macau and I fell in love with the scent more, so when I went to Hong Kong I bought the Fresh Blossom at a Sasa near Langham Place.

It costed $576 HK ($82 AUD). I know you can get it cheaper here in Aus for around $60 during sales, but I guess it was an impulse buy.

Pink and white box packaging!

I absolutely love the packaging and how the button is at the top while the dispenser is on the side, it's so unique compared with the modern day perfumes. But the downside to it is that you cant use a Travolo or a refillable perfume bottle with it.
The bottom is also flat so it wont roll around if you leave it on a flat surface.

As for the scent, I'm going to be using trusty google to describe it.

Heart Notes: Muget, Rose & Jasmine
Top Notes: Grapefruit, Cassis & Apricot
Base Notes: Blond woods & Smooth Skin Accord

But all I say is that it smells fresh.

It's now my go-to perfume, I've been using 2 sprays of it whenever I'm out and lasts around 5 hours before it dies down.
I will definitely repurchase this when I run out.

Purr by Katy Perry

Celebrity fragrances have always been on the top of my wishlists, they're usually highly raved about in terms of the scent and/or the bottle.
The fragrance I have always wanted to own (besides many other celeb perfumes)  had always been Katy Perry's Purr and Meow, mainly because of the perfume bottle, I mean come on a cat?! How can I not refuse?

side of the box, with the ingredients

I bought the perfume at Priceline for $29 a few months ago on sale (near the end of November). So sadly the sale is over now but I know Mychemist is currently selling the 30ml one for $19.99!
I was really tempted to get the 100ml bottle (bigger bottle = bigger cat haha!) but my Dad strictly forbid me to buy big bottles of perfume unless I like it and it is cheap, but I'm thankful that he did that because the bottle is the perfect size to sit on my desk and also because I wasn't a big fan of the scent.

I am horrible at describing things, let alone scents. So with the help of internet I was able to find that it was best described as a "florally-apple-peach scent."
It does have a sweet side to it kind of like a mix of vanilla and peach. As for the floral scent it isn't overpowering but it is noticeable enough to know that it is a floral scent. (my mum uses floral fragrances a lot so this perfume reminds me of my mum).
The scent lasts on the skin or clothes for around 5 hours, when you first spray it the scent can be quite floral but it starts to die down to a sweet scent after awhile which I like.
Also can I say how much I like the spray?! it sprays a nice mist compared to the Fantasy by Brittany Spears, one spray with that is usually too much for me to handle!

The front and back of the bottle!
As for the pacakaging it is the most adorable perfume bottle I've seen! (apart from the Harajuku Lovers Fragrances...)  I like how they added a collar to the cat and bejewelled the cat eyes, made it seem a lot more cat-like. But the down side to the packaging was the part where you have to open the cats head to get to the spray, I mean opening it was easy but when you tried to attach the head back, I had to apply a lot of force to it which felt like I was going to break it.

Close-up of the collar!
I wouldn't repurchase this fragrance because I know I won't finish this any time soon, so far I've used it 2-3 times. I also have a lot of other fragrances to try out, this just wasn't a favourite of mine.
