Long time no Haul?! || Ft Birthday Beauty Gifts & more!

I feel like it has been awhile since my last major haul?!
I think I've done pretty well in holding my crazy makeup spree craze just for the sake of saving up, but low and behold, we just need one of those days where spoiling yourself with the beauty of makeup should make your day a little bit better. Especially when having quite the stressful time in preparing for the upcoming exams. *cries in the corner*
But to be honest this 'haul' is pretty much the products I've gathered up that have either been bought or given to me as a gift from August to September.

Overview

Sadly 'Cherry Cordial' melted slightly in the lid :(
Even though Ive heard about Gerard Cosmetics, I never really thought to look at any of their products as it never did interest me. But I randomly came across their website and saw that they were having a 4 for $36 US sale (About $50AU) so it was quite the impulsive decision to go for it! I picked up the colours French Toast, Berry Smoothie, Rodeo Drive and Cherry Cordial as they were the only colours I was leaning towards. Still have yet to try them, but can I just say the packaging is so damn gorgeous and looks like such a luxury product for a cheap price!

While I was trying to top up my Myki at my local Terry White Chemist, I came across the Ulta range that was having a 50% sale, most of the lipsticks were sold out and the leftover ones were the colours that weren't my type except for one that caught my eye, the Ulta 3 Matte Lipstick in Rose Bloom was a little daunting from the tube but matte lipsticks are my love. I have used this for the past few days and it is the most gorgeous colour ever, will be doing a LOTD with this one soon!

My brother went to Sydney for Defqon and with constant nagging to him about Sephora and getting the answer of 'NO' he texted me one afternoon and asked me what I wanted from Sephora! (#1 brother much?!). His phone was about to die so I made sure it was clear that I just wanted the Kat Von D Liquid Liner in Brown and Black and any blue liner but he didn't get me that cause he didn't see the point in blue eyeliner...

Aside from the lipstick I featured from my birthday, my friend also got me The Body Shop Skinny Thin Felt Eyeliner. She told me she always saw me with a winged eyeliner so she got me a liner and it was pretty exciting getting a new eyeliner to try as majority of my liners were running low!! And it's always nice to know that my go to makeup look leaves an impression off my friends :')

I don't think I've made this quite public on my blog yet, but I did do the big chop so most of the brown in my hair is gone and my roots are back out and free! Which means, I needed a change of eyebrow products. I bought the Etude House Drawing Eyebrow Pencil in a black shade from BeautyNetKorea. With just this pencil alone it is too dark and bold for my liking but in combination with my Anastasia Dip Brow in Dark brown, it makes the perfect shade, can I just say it is my favourite eyebrow pencil aswell. (Throwback to my review of the eyebrow pencil!!)

I felt a little empty after using up my all time favourite lip balm, the Nivea Essential Care Lipbalm but as I was walking through the beauty aisle of my Woolies, I saw that the Nivea range was $2 each so I pick up 2 of the lip balms to stock up.

Leaving the best till last!
I got a $70 Mecca gift card from two of my lovely friends on my birthday Steph + Alex, THANKS SO MUCH GUYS (tbh you guys need to let Steph know that she needs to start blogging again).
 I don't have the heart to step inside a Mecca as knowing me I would probably end up going over my card limit but I think it was time to go spoil myself. Im a big online shopper so I ended up getting everything on the Mecca website. I picked up the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray in hope that my makeup would last when summer comes along. My current eye primer was slowly coming down to an end so I added the Nars Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base into my cart. I saw the Stila Midnight Magic Eyeliner Set and thought why the hell not?! Ive always wanted to see if their liquid liner was as good as it sounds and I needed a navy blue pencil eyeliner to try out, the set was perfect for me! Lastly my bronzer is starting to get outdated and I figured it may be the reason why Ive been getting itchy around the cheekbones, so I got the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer which smells like heaven.

Disclaimer: All these products were either bought by me or given to me as a gift

Long Time No Haul!

It's probably been around a year since my last haul!
Entering VCE and also getting a job has probably been one of the reasons why I haven't bought many stuff all at once in a long long time.
I found a beanie and a scarf online which I just had to buy so I decided to go out and get them, but considering that I went out to shop, I couldnt resist some sales that I went past.

Nivea Irresistibly Smooth Body Lotion || $3.50 ||
Purchased this at Big W when I was trying to find the cotton buds. The sales tag stood out in the corner of my eye and considering that it was previously $6.50, I just had to get it. Also perfect timing since the colder weather is starting to come to Melbourne.

Nivea In-Shower Skin Conditioner || $4.75 ||
Also bought this in Big W, this exploded in a lot of peoples blogs, with some great reviews and some bad. nevertheless I just really wanted to try it after seeing some amazing reviews on it.

Simple Eye Makeup Remover || $6.99 ||
2 of my current makeup removers are starting to run low so I had to stock up so I bought this makeup remover at MyChemist. It was the cheapest one that was on sale.

Dove Go Fresh Face Cleanser || $3 ||
I'm assuming that this is a new Dove product since I havent seen this on the selves before. There were 4 different ones from the same range but one of them was fully sold out and this was the second most sold out, hence why I chose this one. I got this at Big W as well.

Maybelline Express Remover Pot || $4.97 ||
MyChemist is currently having a 50% off Maybelline sale, so I took advantage of the sale to buy the famous nail polish remover pot that has recently been sold in Australia! To be honest I wouldn't of bought it for the normal price of $9.95 so it was perfect timing.

Chi Chi Nail Polish in Social Butterfly || $5 ||
I have seriously missed walking into the beauty section of Target, with all the reduced makeup they sell. I was browsing through the Chi Chi products and found this gorgeous purple brown reduced to $5.

Chi Chi Nail Polish in Get Out Of My Head || $1 ||
This was right next to the other polish I got it only for $1, it was the last one. Sadly when I got home, I found out that the polish was all gloopy and thick, nearly unusable. But I did add some nail polish thinner and it is somewhat manageable to use it for nail art but not for a full set of nails.

Daiso Cotton Swab Refills 400pc x 2 || $5.60 ||
I usually buy my cotton buds at target in the 400pc but I just couldnt find it at all in my local Big W so I bought it at Daiso as a last resort. And yellow is my favourite colour so I just had to get it!

Adnohr Ear Care Antiseptic Spray || $6.81 ||
I actually got my second ear piercing done so I needed a antiseptic spray and the place I got it done sold it for $15.99 which was just not in my budget so I hopped down to MyChemist to get one, it was originally around $8-$9 but my friends sister who works at MyChemist gave me a 20% discount.

Daiso Oil Blotting Paper || $2.80 ||
Probably the only oil blotting paper that I use, it's cheap, effective and gets the job done.

Bardot Knotted Tassel Scarf || $29.95 ||
This was the only reason why I went shopping, to buy this scarf and a beanie. I have Ski camp in a few months time so I needed a thick, long scarf so I can deal with the cold. This scarf is super long and reached my toes if I dont wrap it around. It wraps around twice and is the warmest thing ever!
[Can get it online here]

Mr Fox Beanie || $16.99 ||
When I was searching online for scarfs, I went onto Glassons and found this Fox Beanie! I guess it is a lot cuter on the Glassons website but it is still the most adorable beanie I have ever seen before.
[Can get it online here]

Second Ear Lobe Piercing || $24.95 ||
I randomly got my second ear piercing done by impulse. I didnt plan on getting it done during my shopping spree but it was time to get my seconds done, I was planning on doing them last holidays but I just never got around to doing them. I got them done at Beauty Essentials and I just love it! I will probably get my third done probably next year or next few holidays.

Which product should I review next?!

Shopping Spree Haul!

Seeing as though I had nothing to save up up, I thought why not have a shopping spree? It's nice to indulge yourself and try some new things once in a while! So the blazer I bought for my job interview a while ago, I actually didn't wear to my interview and luckily I didn't rip off the tag, I got my refund which added $40 to my spree budget :D (I had $100 on me)

Rimmel Match Perfection 2 in 1 Concealer & Highlighter in 010 Ivory @ Priceline - $11.16

I actually didnt buy this for myself, my friend asked me to get her this concealer off of ebay but I found out Priceline sold it for cheaper so I went and got this for her. I heard some good reviews of this!

Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in 001 Dark Brown @ Priceline - $6.80

I've have my eyes on this for a while now, I'm not a fan of eyebrow pencils since I prefer the natural look but I'm glad I finally crossed this off my shopping list! Might as well try it out.

Essence Smokey Eyes Brush @ Priceline - $2.55

So a while back I was searching for crease brushes, and I came across this. Although I ordered a Sigma crease brush, I couldnt stand the wait and got this as a brush to use before the Sigma one arrived. I tried it out when I got home and I must say that it is amazing. Going to buy a second one as a backup!

Maybelline Fit Me Powder in 120 Classic Ivory @ Big W - $10.24

I was actually contemplating between this powder or the Rimmel one, while I was at Priceline, but I said no. Then I was walking around Big W and saw this on sale and yes..I did say yes

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 005 Silk Beige @ Priceline - $10.36

I've seen this everywhere! It was one of those products I wanted but also didn't one, kind of like an unnecessary thing. But my powder was low and I needed one so I chose this one.

BOE Beauty Bronzer in #1 St Tropez Bronzing Powder @ Big W - $2

This was cleared for $2 at Big W, I thought why not, it was $2 and I'm still on the path of trying new bronzers.

BOE Beauty Pressed Powder Compact in #1 Translucent F/Powder @ Big W - $2

You're probably wondering why did I buy so much finishing powders... I wonder why myself. But it was just calling out my name in its clearance bowl. :(

Sunsilk Conditioner for Damaged Hair @ Safeway - $4.79

Ran out of my previous conditioner and needed to get this ASAP since my ends started feeling dry again. I can say this conditioner is a lifesaver, made my ends silky smooth (weird since I straighten my hair every day without heat protectant..oops). Anyone want a review on this?

Dettol Hand Sanitizer @ Safeway - $2.99

One of those products you need in your purse if you're feeling germaphobic!

Models Prefer Manicure 5 PC Set @ Priceline - $5

I was looking for new tweezers and nail file and came across this, came in a few colours but I preferred the black one the most! I've already started using this, so a review should be coming very soon!

Face of Australia Lip Quench in Lychee Crush @ Priceline - $9.45

Saw a few blog posts about this and the colour looked so pretty on the lips, cannot wait to try it (suffering from chapped lips)

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss in 16 @ Priceline - $9.56

This has always been on my wishlist but I never decided the colour i wanted, I was contemplating between the coral one and this, and I thought to just try this one out since coral might be too bright for me.

[[ If you're wondering, the cotton buds are from Big W for $1, not that interesting ]]

Job Interview Clothing Haul!

So I have finally got my job interview message and I needed some new clothes to wear before wednesday! The message said that I had to wear appropriate business attire and I pretty much had my outfit all sorted in my mind.

Colour Longline Blazer @ JayJays -$39.95

I've always wanted to own a blazer, seemed like an essential to every closet. Sadly JayJays only had 2 more blazers left and the only sizes were size 8 and size 14, size 8 was very tight on me and size 14 was a bit more baggier.

Sleeveless Button Up Shirt @ Vallygirl- $6.95

Finally Valleygirl has opened in my Westfield! I was so excited, since the nearest Valleygirl from me was around 15-30 minutes away from me. The store had a 30% off opening sale. I actually own a yellow one of these and I love it! I am probably going to buy all the colours if I ever get a job.

Short Black City Dressing Bi Stretch Pants @ Target- $20

Lastly I bought some work pants, I'm pretty sure majority of the major retail stores and fast food chains require black pants. So I don't have a worry if I don't get in Coles. It was pretty sad that I was the only teenage girl shopping around the work clothes at Target, but luckily the womens sizes fit me.

Now I was also contemplating between swapping the blazer to a black cardigan, I have a feeling that I'll be the only person wearing formal-ish wear, if not then the only teenager wearing formal-ish wear. Any thoughts would be helpful! I'll also be wearing some cute black bow flats from Rubi Shoes. It would also be pretty awkward for me to walk around wearing formal wear around a shopping centre (I mean there's nothing wrong with it but, teenager in business clothes seems off to me)

Haulage!

Went out to go find a small birthday present for my friend but I ended up buying other items than expected.

Nature's Care Paw Paw Lip Balm- $2.96 @ Priceline

I was going to try this out because I heard that it was very similar to Lucas Papaw Ointment and it was also a lot cheaper!

Lucas' Papaw Ointment- $4.99 @ Target

I really needed to get this even though I already bought the Natures Care Paw Paw Lip Balm, I was using my brothers Lucas Papaw Ointment in the 75g Jar and it seemed like a hassle since I was keeping his jar on my desk since I used it all the time so I decided to go buy my own.

Essence Coverstick in 05 Matt Beige- $3.95 @ Priceline

I heard from MissGlamorazzi that she really liked this coverstick so I wanted to try it, I didnt actually try out if the colour worked on me or not yet, so Im hoping that it will fit it!

Australis Deodorant in Pure Musk- $0.83each @ Target

I was walking through the makeup aisles at Target and I saw that the Australis Deodorants were 83 cents each! Honestly that made me get both which were the last two. I'm also a big fan of the Vanilla scented one.

Haul!

Went out yesterday to go buy a lace skirt at JayJays but sadly they ran out so I went and bought some stuff to cheer myself up!

Australis Deodorant Body Spray- $3.79 @ Priceline

I was walking bad to the checkout when I passed the deodorant section, I went to see if Impulse was on sale but then I saw another deodorant which was around $2 cheaper than the Impulse deodorant, the Australia! They had a range of different smells but the Vanilla Dream caught my eye because it was yellow and smelt so nice, like vanilla. Smells so yummy!

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe- $9.56 @ Priceline

Saw this on the Priceline catalogue on sale and I was so tempted to buy them all but I really wanted the taupe colour since I really never owned a taupe colour and the colour looked so natural on the lid so I finally bought it!

Rubi Lulu Beret in Lemonade & Soft Grey- $5 each @ Rubi Shoes

I have never owned a beret before so I was really excited when I saw this on the Cotton On website! They were $5 each so I went in store at Rubi Shoes and found them at the back where the saled items go, most of the grey berets were marked as $10 but I found on at the very back behind the yellow berets marked at $5. Can't wait to wear them out!

Latest Haulage!

Went out shopping today! After saving up for my camera I'm now free to buy my makeup again!

Ecotools Powder Brush- $17.99 @ Priceline

I was contemplating between the powder brush or the set that had the blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, eyebrow/lash, concealer brushes for $34 but I didnt have enough so I just bought the powder. Finally bought a brush for my powder foundation.

Rimmel London Glam'Eyes Professional Liquid Liner in 001 Black Glamour- $9.56 @ Priceline

Needed a new liquid eyeliner and I saw this on sale so I decided to try it out.

Rimmel London I Love Lasting Finish in 053 Apricot Punch- $2.95 @ MyChemist

Saw this on the MyChemist catalogue, used to be $5.95 so I saved $3! I usually only buy nail polish if it is under $3. I bought the Apricot Punch because I really love peachy/coraly nail colours.

Ulta3 Nail Polish in Earl Grey- $2 @ Target

Was walking through the aisles and saw a grey nail polish which seems really rare so I bought it and the grey colour reminded me of Totoro, im hoping to do some Totoro nail art sometime.

Storage Boxes- $2.80 Each @ Daiso

Since I bought more nail polishes I had no more space on my desk so I bought the white stackable boxes and for the yellow box, it has a magnet at the back to stick it on a fridge and lucky for me my desk is actually next to the fridge so it would come in handy to store my pens & pencils!

Haul- Rimmel Xmas 2011 Pack

Bought the Rimmel Xmas 2011 Pack a few weeks ago at Priceline just for $9, it was marked down from $24.95 to $9 which was a very good deal even though the products were probably on the shelves for a year. But I needed a new eyeliner and instead of buying an eyeliner for $9 I got to have nailpolish, mascara, eyeshadow and eyeliner for the same price also including a cute bag that stored them all!

So inside the bag it contained

  • I Love Lasting Finish Nail Polish in 'Cranberry Zest'
  • Glam'Eyes Eyeshadow Quad in 'Smokey Noir'
  • The Max Bold Curves Mascara in 'Black'
  • Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in 'Jet Black'

Tried to make the pictures similar haha. [[Sorry for the blurriness]]

The G Mesh Bag that stored all the products, it was very shiney and flowy. It makes a pretty cool makeup bag for travelling.

I Love Lasting Finish Nail Polish in '066 Cranberry Zest'

It was a hot pink colour on the nails which also smelt like cherries!
I wasn't really into dark colours on my nails but I like doing nail art so this colour might come in handy.

Glam'Eyes Eyeshadow Quad in 'Smokey Noir'

When I saw that the pack came with this, I immediately wanted this. I only thing I usually wear on my eyes is just a very sheer eyeshadow and eyeliner. But I did have a thing for dark, neutral eyeshadows. The colour on the far right made me want it more.

The Max Bold Curves Mascara in 'Black'

Saw this and wasn't really sure if I was going to like it or not, I mean I already had a masara favourite (Maybelline One By One..review coming soon) so I was like, sure why not try a new mascara?!

Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in 'Jet Black'

I pretty much died on the inside when I saw that this was also in the bag. I had been wanting to buy this eyeliner for so long after many people raving about it online. So of course I bought the pack just because of this.

I will be doing reviews on each of the products in the future!

Like my new signature? :)
